By finely chopping AD feedstock into a porridge-like consistency, the X-UNIT vastly increases the surface area. This provides easier access for the microbes in the digester, ensuring the maximum amount of biogas can be extracted from each tonne of feedstock. By combining this with a 4-double edged blade chopping unit and speeds of up to 3,000rpm, it also prevents contaminants from entering the plant and damaging downstream equipment.
